I think I just discovered my favorite new color scheme tool. ColourCode is an on-the-fly, easy to use, browser based program that allows you to create color schemes for your graphic design or creative project.
ColourCode differs from many color scheme tools because no matter what hues you choose, the algorithm seems to always provide great looking matches that compliment your selection. Some of the cool features with this tool include: on-the-fly hue adjustment, a variety of color scheme options (monochromatic, triad, complimentary, etc), and the ability to save your favorite palettes as a png file for later use. Oh, and did I mention it’s free.
Give it a try…you won’t be disappointed. And while you’re at it, also check out ColorSchemeDesigner; a similar free, browser based color program. If you have any similar color tools that are worth checking out, please share them in the comments section below. Thanks for reading.
