Namecheap (a leader in domain registry services) revealed today, a new logo and website redesign. Unlike many cringeworthy rebrands I’ve been seeing lately, Namecheap’s redesign looks like a step in the right direction.
Below is a preview of Namecheap’s old logo compared with a version of their new logo. Sure, maybe not the most unique or eye catching design ever; but a step up from the previous wouldn’t you say?

And below is a preview of their old website alongside the new responsive redesign. Much more intuitive, less cluttered and easier to navigate. The old site seemed very 90’s, maybe a bit too busy and lacking in the aesthetics department.
It would be interesting to see how these new visual changes effect Namecheap’s sales from here forward. So what are your thoughts? A step in the right direction? Please share your thoughts below.
